What kinds of garbage classification are common in China?
Nowadays, China's household garbage can be generally divided into four categories: recyclable garbage, kitchen waste garbage, harmful garbage and other garbage. At present, the commonly used waste treatment methods are: comprehensive utilization, sanitary landfill, incineration to generate electricity, composting and resource return.
Recyclable waste mainly includes waste paper, plastic, glass, metal and cloth. Waste paper mainly includes newspapers, periodicals, books, all kinds of wrapping paper, office paper, advertising paper, paper boxes, etc., but note that paper towels and toilet paper are too water-soluble to be recycled. Plastic mainly includes all kinds of plastic bags, plastic packaging, disposable plastic lunch box and tableware, toothbrush, cup, mineral water bottle, toothpaste, toothpaste, toothpaste, toothpaste. Glass mainly includes a variety of glass bottles, broken glass pieces, mirrors, light bulbs, thermos and so on. Metal products mainly include cans, cans and so on. Other wastes include bricks, tiles, ceramics, residual soil, toilet paper, paper towels and other wastes that are difficult to be recycled except for the above-mentioned types of wastes. Sanitary landfill can effectively reduce the pollution of groundwater, surface water, soil and air.
